Dallas Baptist University; MDIV from Brite Divinity, TCU; Working on DMIN at
Asbury Theological Seminary. Married to Marlane for 36+ years; 3 adult
daughters; 5 grandchildren and one on the way. Retired in 1991 as E-9, Master
Chief from US Navy after 20+ years as an air traffic controller. |

Kevin Janofski, Youth Director
Personal: I grew up in the cold winter wonderland of
Marquette, MI. In the 7th grade I had a life-changing experience
that affirmed in my heart that what I wanted more than than anything was to
live and work full-time as a ministry leader and teacher. This was an
incredible experience and a realization for me that has left an eternal mark
on my heart. My "call" couldn't have come at a better time as I was finally
accepting the reality that I was too short and way too limited to ever make
it in the N.B.A.!
Education: In December of 2010 I graduated from the
Moody Bible Institute in Chicago with a B.A. in Pastoral Ministries.
Chicago was fun but I am honestly way more thrilled to wake up each day in
the beautiful, Dr. Pepper drenched heart of Texas!
Random: Here are a couple random things about me. I'll
play and watch nearly every sport... except for
NASCAR. I really love
to read. I also like running, bonfires, and finding new ways to share and
illustrate the Bible. And I like Disney movies-probably more than the
average male my age! They are terrific. The most recent one, 'The
Princess and the Frog' was great but my favorites are the animated
version of 'Robin Hood'
and of course, 'The Lion King.'
