The Upper Room Prayer Group meets in the pastor's office first and third Monday mornings of each month at 9 am.   We thank God for the privilege of prayer and for the joys that surround us.  And we review our list and add names, or remove them.  Then we pray for the physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional needs of those on our list.  Our list comes from anyone who requests prayer for themselves or for a loved one or a friend.  We have a list of homebound and people who just are less independent than in past years.  We have a list people with very serious illnesses, a list of people with less serious problems, and a list of service people.
  Anyone who has a prayer request may call David and Lucy Hill at 903.564.3617 or  Opal Barr at 903.651.1057 or email  opalbarr@hotmail.com    If you do put someone on the list, please let us know how the person is progressing every month or so, because if we do not know the person, we may take him/her off the list before you are ready for us to.  Please know that we do care about you and about your concerns and we do respect your privacy.  If something needs to be kept confidential, please let us know so that we will take extra precautions.  If there is a special need for prayer between our meeting times, we will send out e-mails to our members to start praying then.
