Workshop: Planning With a purpose

Join us at First United Methodist Church of Whitesboro on Sunday, September 27, immediately following worship, for a special workshop led by Rev. Carol Montgomery.

Planning With a Purpose: A Legacy of Love is designed to help individuals prepare in advance for the practical, financial, and legal decisions that may arise when a spouse dies. Rev. Carol Montgomery, LPC, will guide participants through important steps that can be taken now to make a difficult time less overwhelming for loved ones later.

Topics will include organizing important documents, reviewing wills and powers of attorney, beneficiary information, insurance and Social Security considerations, financial and legal planning, funeral wishes, digital accounts, and other important end-of-life preparations.

Whether you are planning for yourself, helping a loved one prepare, or simply want to have important information organized before it is needed, this workshop will offer practical tools and guidance for planning with purpose and love.
