Our Mission

At First United Methodist Church of Whitesboro, our mission is the same as the mission of The United Methodist Church: to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

Making disciples means helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus through worship, prayer, Bible study, service, and authentic community. As we follow Christ together, we learn to love God wholeheartedly and love our neighbors with compassion and grace.

A transformed world begins right here in Whitesboro. We envision a community where lives are changed by God's love, families are strengthened, people are cared for, and hope is shared. As we serve our neighbors and live out our faith each day, we join God in bringing healing, justice, peace, and love to our community and beyond.
