Back to School Blessing Service

A new school year brings new opportunities, new challenges, and new beginnings. Join us at First United Methodist Church of Whitesboro on Sunday, August 9th at 10:00 AM as we pray God's blessing over our students, teachers, school staff, administrators, and families during our special Back to School Worship Service.

During the service, we'll take time to ask God's guidance, protection, wisdom, and peace for everyone preparing for the year ahead. As a reminder that God goes with us wherever we go, every student and educator will receive a special backpack and bag tag to carry throughout the school year.

Whether you're starting kindergarten, heading to college, teaching in the classroom, driving a school bus, or supporting a student at home, there's a place for you here. Come begin the school year grounded in faith, encouraged by community, and sent out with God's blessing.
